Books Rooms at the Long Buckby Community Centre


Welcome to the Long Buckby Community Centre room booking site. We have wide variety of rooms to hire, with a choice of facilities, suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities. On this site you can not only browse our facilities and book our rooms but also view whats going on at the centre by looking at our booking calendar. We also run fundraising events which you can view and buy tickets for on our events page.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email or you can call us to discuss your needs. Registered regular users have access to all their booking information and can easily make repeat bookings and manage their account.

Main Hall

Capacity: 200 people
Pricing: £17.50-£23.00 per hour

The Main Hall is located on the ground floor with access  through the front foyer or the Stables entrance. It features a fully equipped kitchen area with crockery and cutlery available for hire and a large stage area at one end.

The hall covers approximately 150 m² with a 2.44 m deep stage at one end, and is suitable for meetings and large events such as wedding receptions, dances, concerts,  large public meetings and parties. There is sufficient room height for Bouncy Castles at children’s parties but it must be from a reputable and fully insured company. The maximum height is 8ft 4in or 254cm.

Chairs and tables are provided and are included in the hire cost, note a maximum seated capacity is 200.

The PA system has wireless and handheld (cabled) microphones, an audio loop, available upon request and sockets to connect an iPod or other music player.

A free-standing AV projector can be synchronised with a laptop or iPad and the stage area features a drop-down screen and backdrop curtain.

Located alongside the Main Hall is a fully equipped kitchen that can be hired at an additional cost. This rate includes full use of all kitchen facilities

Jubilee Room

Capacity: 40 people
Pricing: £11.50 per hour

The Jubilee Room is located on the ground floor, accessible through the front entrance. It spans 48 m2 and features a small kitchen equipped with crockery and cutlery. This can be used as a licensed bar area on its own or when hired in conjunction with the Main Hall.

The room comes equipped with tables & chairs.

It serves as an excellent meeting space or can be utilised as an enhancement  to large events hosted in the adjacent main hall, providing a quiet area or the additional bar space as required.

If you intend to sell alcohol, the alcohol license is available at an additional cost and must be indicated during your booking.

Upper Hall

Capacity: 120 people
Pricing: £17.50-£23.00 per hour

The Upper Hall, situated on the first floor, is accessible via stairs or lift from The Stables entrance. Covering an area of 120 m2, it boasts a spacious and airy atmosphere. Additionally, it provides access to a small kitchenette. 
Tables and chairs are available to provide seating options for a range of different events.

If you intend to sell alcohol, the alcohol license is available at an additional cost and must be indicated during your booking.

Hobro Room

Capacity: 80 people
Pricing: £14.00 per hour

Hobro Room, situated on the first floor and accessible via stairs and a lift from the Stables entrance, is well-suited for small to medium-sized events. It offers the flexibility to be divided into three separate rooms using movable partitions, ideal for company meetings requiring breakout sessions.

When undivided, the room boasts a floor space of 70 m². Furthermore, it provides access to a small kitchenette.

If you intend to sell alcohol, the alcohol license is available at an additional cost and must be indicated during your booking.

Stables Suite Consultation Room

Capacity: 6 people
Pricing: £10.00 per hour

The Stables Suite is a modern secure facility for practitioners and professionals to meet clients. Two rooms are available accessed from a private reception  area with seating and with use of fully equipped kitchenette. The Suite is fully serviced with fast broadband.

This  slightly larger room is fitted with a work station, chairs and a coffee table and can accommodate small meetings of 5-6 people or be simply used as a private consultation room.

Stables Suite Therapy Room

Capacity: 4 people
Pricing: £10.00 per hour

The Stables Suite is a modern secure facility for practitioners and professionals to meet clients. Two rooms are available accessed from a private reception  area with seating and with use of fully equipped kitchenette. The Suite is fully serviced with fast broadband.

The treatment room is equipped with a work station, chairs for up to three people and space for a practitioner to use their own equipment. There is a small hand basin in one corner.
